Guest guest
I thought the possible situations which make CMT worse were interesting and I can't say anything in particular makes it worse. (I'm not voting because I can't pin it down to 1 cause. It's a very worthwhile and I'm looking foward to the results.) However, I'm weaker during cold months but attribute it to being less active and, therefore, have less endurance. Though I have tried downhill skiing, my primary sources of 'fun' exercise are disc golf and bicycle riding. One day every other week I load and unload ~700lbs. of books into/out of my car. One day every week, I load/unload ~250lbs. of books. ....uh, by the way, this is my first post to the group. I'm 44, was diagnosed with CMT (no, I dunno' what flavor) at 18 and suspect CMT has been in the family possibly as far back as the 1860s, maybe further. I'm not the guy you want toting your piano downstairs, walking backwards but I almost never back away from any other physical challenge. Success at those challenges is another story. I'm here, CMT is here - life goes on. (I'm crap at disc golf and worse at bicycle racing but geez, I love _attempting_ to do both!) Oh yeah, I've got foam pad arch supports made ~24 years ago. Guess I oughta' get new ones one of these days. No other gizmos to get around with other than a weird sense of humor. Lots of lunch & best fishes, Joe K.
