Guest guest
I'm completely new to bath and body products; so please forgive me for these basic questions, but where do you get Almond oil, Anhydrous Lanolin (whatever that is) and glycerin? Also, can you use fragrance oil instead or essential if it is compatible with soap? Thanks so much, , rookie soapmaker. --- Soapnshop@... wrote: > Lip and Skin Butter > > 20 ounces Almond Oil > 1/2 pound Anhydrous Lanolin > 8 ounces Glycerin > 3 3/4 ounces Beeswax > 5-10 drops of Essential Oil > > __________________________________________________

Guest guest
When I started with BF it would take me a long time for the exhale, (about 25 seconds).. You actually can speed it up.. With LL I know they stress gentle and you want to make sure your exhaling ALL the air so I would say you will get " faster " at it... as you do it more often.. It takes me about 25-30 minutes to do 40 LL breaths.
Guest guest
Hi Terry, Isn't there some way to check on the suicides from where you work? I will definitely pray for her and for you. I felt so bad for you having to go through that. How frustrating and helpless that must have made you feel. Thanks for the birthday wishes. How is the workout going? I know you have been suffering from a cold and that makes it hard to get the breathing in. Are you still trying though? Sincerely,~Karma http://loaves-n-fishes.com (no subject) Hi everyone, First let me welcome Jetti to the list. Best wishes on doing the LifeLift program.Hope you succeed in your quest for weight loss as well as a healthier body. Second,Karma thanks for the feminine hygiene story, it was a hoot. Am still chuckling over it.And third, Karma Happy Birthday!! I hope you have many many more. I have a few yearson you, but they have been good years, with many blessings. Am dreading the big 50,as that SOUNDS so old to me. None of the other ones bothered me, but I have a feeling that that one will. So sorry to hear about the loss of your dear friend. Can onlytake comfort in knowing that he is in a better place now. This is WAY off the topic now, but want to share with you all. Most of you knowthat I work for a police department. I answer phone calls and dispatch in radio. LastSaturday night I received a call from a woman that called in on the non-emergency lineand she was suicidal. Because she called in on the non-emergency line, there was noway for me to trace the call. We have a trunked system, and it won't allow you to dothat. I must have spoken with her for at least 30 minutes, and all I could get from herwas that her name was and she is 42 yrs old. She wouldn't give me her addressor phone number or anything that would enable me to send help her way. She wascrying and despondent nearly the whole time I was on the line with her. She had justgotten out of the hospital, was divorced, had a daughter that she was estranged from, two sisters, one in poor health, and the other quite a bit older than her who was marriedto a man that had raped this about 15 yrs ago. She had been sick for about amonth before she was put into the hospital, and had lost her job. Was unable to makeher car payments so they had repossessed her car that week, unable to pay her rent, she got an eviction notice and had until Nov 30th to be out of her apartment. I tried time after time to give her info on shelters that she could go to, to give her infoon job lines, and info on mental health facilities that deal in suicide prevention, she didn'ttake any of the info, just kept saying it was too late and too hopeless, and then hungup on me. I have to say, that that was one of the worst calls I have ever had. And I probably handle close to a thousand calls in a months time. All I could do for herwas pray that God would put his arms around her and protect her. From the world andfrom herself. And then I cried. I cried for her and I cried for me. I wish I could have helped her, and who knows ... maybe I did. I have to know and keep reminding myselfthat God knows her and loves her and will do what he can to protect her. I don't mean to bring anyone down with this. I guess with the recent talk of suicideand death, it just came to mind and I needed to unload. Mainly if all of you who praywould say a prayer for this woman named , I would very much appreciate it. If any of you have prayer lists at your church, maybe you could add her to it. Thanks toall of you, and have a great day.Love,Terry
Guest guest
Terry, I read your story of and I want to share that God must have chosen you to be the one to speak to her. I am sure your kindness and caring to help her did not go unnoticed. I am praying that one day, a will call back on a line in your office to " Thank " the person that was there for her in her time of need. I read once that those wanting to commit suicide, there is a " vital " 3 minutes where they will make the attempt, but if they can get beyond those 3 minutes...there is hope. I hope your 30 minute call made all the difference and your prayers for God's intervention hopefully reached her. I knew a woman that had everything going for her and then became depressed. Later, it would be learned that having taken " Herbal Life " for weight loss 8 years, it changed her brain chemistry. (as you hear of those taking Metabolife and Metabolize with the Chinese herb Ma Huang in it...very bad!) Anyway, this woman had a prescription to help her balance her brain chemistry, but had stopped taking it. She didn't know that you can't stop and start these pills. When on it whe was fine, when off, driven into despair, real or imagined. Well, she tried to commit suicide too, taking an overdose prescription pills she has in her medicine cabinet. Her family found her, her stomach was pumped and she thank God, recovered. For her, it was a chemical imbalance which lead her to do this, not the reality of losing a job, car etc. BUT, she thought she had damaged her body, or liver from taking these pills. Turns out, when asking her doctor about them, he looked at her puzzled because the pills she took were not, in fact the ones she told him she had taken. She couldn't believe it, she KNEW what she took! Going home, she found the bottle of pills and was SURPRISED finding them completely FULL! The ones she took the label had changed! She couldn't believe her eyes!!! She knew better and was amazed because the ones she KNEW she took could have damaged her badly. She knows now it was GOD's intervention which saved her life feeling it is truly a miracle! I share this story, only because your prayers and intervention to helped while speaking to her and writing this story on line allows the rest of us to pray for a Miracle for . I pray you'll receive the " return call " with positive results. You are a brave woman and Bless you for the work you do for your community and our world. Thank you.
