Guest guest Posted December 20, 2000 Report Share Posted December 20, 2000 I am a modern dancer who was diagnosed with CP back in February. The doctor did NOT take an MRI, only an x-ray. She sent me to a PT who gave me exercises that helped a lot-- leg raises with weights, stretches, strengthening of the inner thighs etc. My knees were feeling much better while, but now I'm experiencing the same pain again. Curtailing my dance activities is not a desirable option. I do my exercises about 4 times a week and I ice afterwards on days when I am particularly sore. Any advice?
