Guest guest
I am only 17 years old and have always had knee problems. I have seen 6 different otrthopedic surgons, have had enough x-rays for a life time for multiple people, and have been in-and-out of physical therepy . I have been told that I have so many different problems. I just recently went to see my last orthopod., and he was able to tell me what I have. I have chondromalacia patella, osgood-Schlatter disease, patellar tendonitis, and my knee caps are off set and slanted. There is no over-the-counter drug that is strong enough for me, I have to take Vicain, b/c my Codiene is not longer strong enough. That scares me to death b/c of the long term effects of the medications, and the possiblity of getting addicted. My knees are always swelled up, they lock out, give out, shake, grined, ect. I have been told that I will have to get a complete knee replacement for both of me knees. There is 2 different surgries that are avaible, but are not advised to be done, b/c of them not working. I would greatly appreciate any information that anyone has to offer me. Thank you for your time. God Bless. Deanna
