Guest guest Posted March 20, 2004 Report Share Posted March 20, 2004 Dear FORUM, e FORUM would like to invite Indian NGOs to send their experince in submitting application to the Global Fund through Indian Country Corodination Mechanism (CCM) As you may know, the Global Fund was established more than two years ago to mobilize and distribute funds to address three of the world's most deadly iseases, AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The Global Fund has recently launched its Partnership Forum to ensure that civil society stakeholders are openly and genuinely involved. This is an opportunity to offer your input into how well the Global Fund is doing and offer your guidance on how it can do it better. Between March to July 2004, an online moderated discussion forum is available to share your views and comments on the Fund's progress and activities in your countries and communities. Your voice and opinions are crucial to making the most of what the Fund can and will achieve in the future. We would like to hear from you on any aspects of Indian AIDS NGOs experience in accessing the Global Fund. For instance; 1) Are you aware that your agency is eligible to apply to Global fund through CCM/NACO? 2) have you/your agency applied to Global Fund? If no, was there any specific reason for not doing so? 3) What technical assistance you might need to develop your proposal next round? 4) Do you have any suggestions to make Global Fund application process more transparent and accessible? Most of us as NGOds are not aware of the nitty gritties and hence we are lost in applying for funds. My NGO is working in Rajasthan. Can I apply through CCM and how.
