Rob,

I experienced the same situation relating to work. I worked for hospital

(office) & really liked my job. There came a time when I had to have back

surgery & with CMT it was really hard on me. My employer helped by cutting my

hrs. back, but still couldn't function, so with no other alternative had to

apply to SSDI. I received it right away & now have Medicare insurance which

turns out to be ok. It was really hard for me to give up working, but I feel so

blessed to have SSDI.

So, from someone who understands your situation, I say go for it & enjoy abit of

life outside the working box.

Good luck...
