Guest guest
Oh yes, for me, exercise and diet are very important. I am a vegetarian and also do no snacking. As for the alcohol issue, I obstain completely. For exercise, I have done pilates for about a year and also yoga for about 5 years. This has helped me so much in staying limber. I too heard the " you can't do that myth " when I was a child, and had an overprotective mother. Fortunately I am strong willed and would go out and try things on my own anyway. I learned exactly what I COULD do. I don't think I would be where I am today if it wasn't for my father, who counterbalanced Mother's " can'ts " with " cans " . He's the reason I had the courage to apply to RISD. I'm currently an art director for a magazine and love my job. It can be stressful, but it's all how I manage stress that counts.
