Hi Marti, I am familiar with these products. The company has been in

business for many years, however I think they went by a different

name several years back. I bought a pair of their orthotics that

were more comfortable than most (they called them " the Original " or

something like that), but they just didn't work for me. So I

returned to the store and exchanged them for a pair of PW Minor shoes

(which I am not too fond of either).

From what I have seen, they are quality products. But whether or not

they will work for you would depend on many factors including the

degree of severity of your CMT. When I bought mine, they would do an

exchange on the orthotics (if you didn't like them), but not a

refund. That is why I wound up with the PW Minor shoes. Here are

some more things to keep in mind:

1) They have a very strong and well-tuned sales pitch that includes

making diagrams of the bottoms of your feet to show weight

distribution. They have several balance tests that customers will do

both with and without the orthotics.

2) Their orthotics are very expensive (something like $250-$300, If I

remember correctly).

3) The people that work in the stores are knowledgeable, but first

and foremost they are salespeople.

If you go to their store, I would strongly recommend doing ALOT of

walking around in the orthotics prior to purchasing them. The reason

they didn't work for me was mainly that they did nothing to correct

the roll-out of my ankles and sometimes seemed to make it worse.

But, on the other hand, they fitted me better than ones that were

custom-made for me by a podiatrist. The only good experience I have

EVER had with orthotics is recently when I was fitted with AFOs. Of

course everyone is different, but that was my experience.

Hope this helps.

Hello again Marti,

I forgot to address something in my previous note. Yes, it is true

that they are small and light. They have numerous " models, " some of

which are made specifically for dress shoes.
