Guest guest
: Where does one get hold of the " CMT Physicians Handbook " ? That's the first I've heard of such a book. I surely would appreciate being able to read that book. Although I have HNPP, we do share many, many common threads. Not being a female and not wanting to be the first male to give birth (sorry, Lloyd's of London - you can keep your million dollars), I can't help you with the pre-pregnancy questions. However, there are great ladies here that certainly can and I'm sure will. I wish you and your husband all the best on your journey to become parents. rQn I
Guest guest
you can get the book from the CMT association in pennsylvania. I found it helpful and bought extras to give to my family doctors. Cathleen in Arkansas
Guest guest
- thank you so much for the well wishes! I learned from my GYN that the verison of the Physician's Handbook that I have, isn't completely reliable because it's dated 1995. However, I found it helpful as far as describing symptoms and the different types of CMT. The book is called Physician's Handbook for CMT. If you call the CMT Association) at 800-606-CMTA, they will send you a packet. It includes the handbook (updated version I should think). I hope that helps! I just called the # myself!
