Involuntary movement

Hi everyone!

There is a lot of involuntary movement in my right foot thumb these days. It

keeps twitching and dancing on its own. I have to really concentrate hard and

force my thumb so that it does not move.

Earlier, I had taken tablets of propranolol for some days which temporarily

stopped the twitching, but my thumb seems to have become naughtier this time and

is not responding to propranolol.

I suspect this might be because of my AFOs. They completely restrict the

movement of my feet (the feet are fixed). Also, the thumb movement increases

when I wear AFOs for long.

This has become kind of irritating and I can’t concentrate on the work I do. In

fact, though it might sound funny, I have to tie to thumb and other fingers with

a thick thread. And I can, under no circumstances stop using my AFOs,

Please help.
