Guest guest
Call and talk to the nurse for your MDA doctor. Sometimes there is miscommunication with some of the staff there. I was refused an appointment recently because I hadn't been there in six years. The told me to go to my primary care dr. Then if she couldn't handle the issue, she could refer me to them. I had to get a mistake corrected in my records from six years ago (they made a typo and it said, " The patient was advised that intensive exercise would help her symptoms. " --left out the word NOT) So I called the nurse to get that corrected, since my records are being reviewed by lawyers regarding my ability to work, that was a big mistake not in my favor. To make a long story short, the nurse said, I needed to come in since I hadn't been there in six years. I told her they denied me an appointment, and she said, nonsense, and gave me one. I think it all depends on who you talk to. If it is an issue with a particular doctor, then ask to see a different one next time and see if you get better results. I didn't like the one I saw there the first time either, but this new one is very good. Keep trying, the MDA clinics are an invaluable resource for us.
