Guest guest
I have just joined and found it from a search engine link. I am 44, diagnosed with CMT when I was about 12. I had one foot surgery and at one point a few years ago my doc suggested I go to a support group, which I tried, but it was very disturbingly depressing. I am happy to see here can expand on what's positive and that attitude is important, for this is part of my personal philosophy. I am married to a wonderful woman and have been in the restaurant biz for about 20 years. It took me some time to adjust to being on my feet so much, but having the biz well established now gives me the chance to have my staff do the physical work, and as owner and host, that's when I take over. I love what I do. I am also a chef, which is how I entered the biz, but prefer to cook on my own and have a chef working for me at the biz. It seems very exciting to know about so much research being done. Walt
