Guest guest
Ooooooooo, Mamma! It's good to hear from you! Sounds like my kinda fun, playing dress up! I was the Statue of Liberty for halloween last year for all my patients. I had a blue green sheet draped around me and had used blue-green make up for my face and arms. I had a crown and a torch that was a flashlight with the flame on top both of which I bought at the S.O.L. last year when I was in NYC. My patients enjoyed it and the prople I passed on the freeway, too! It took about a week for my skin to recover! Love and pahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Guest guest
Rashelle: I'm glad to hear that you're finding some joy from your granddaughter & niece; the innocent laughter of children can infuse joy into even the most difficult situations. My oldest daughter was born exactly one year after my father's untimely, very unexpected death. I know that God sent her as a reminder that life goes on and that He continues to bless us even in our darkest hours (I personally think He blesses us the MOST during our darkest hours). I will continue to pray for you and your family. You seem to have a very close family. Although my close relationship with my Dad made his death especially difficult at first, it is very healing to know that we loved one another so much...I have no regrets over the past. Stay close to your family and close to God...those relationships are really all that matter anyway. -- In LifeLiftegroups, " Rashelle Haines " <rashelle@l...> wrote: > .Hi Everyone, > > I wanted to check in and say hi and tell you how much I appreciate all of > you. > Your thoughtful cards, and messages and meant a great deal to me. Guest guest
Thank you so much for this message. You are so right about the children. They are like a magic potion for happiness. I can hear them in the backyard giggling and it is impossible not to smile. It is so wonderful to hear that God gave you your precious daughter to sooth your broken heart after losing your Dad. I woke up several times last night and I refused to allow bad thoughts to enter. Instead I prayed until I slept again. My sweet husband has taken some time off work to be with me now, he travels with his job and has to be gone much of the time. It is a special gift to me to have him near now. He flew with me to be with my family last week and it was so wonderful to know I would have him around, non stop for awhile. Having such a close family, the children near, my friends, including all of you, will make this all bearable. I know that God will take care of my Dad and that is a great comfort. I have complete faith that God will always be with him and with all of us. Aren't we all so lucky to know we are never alone.
