I was struck by one line of this especially: " Muscle biopsy is always

normal when CPK and EMG are normal. "

I had a muscle and nerve biopsy when I was 14. The results were

'normal'. At 15 I had my first EMG - which I never heard results on and

I have always wondered what the results were...but that was 1967 and

records are gone.

My EMG in 1999 had all normal scoring and I wondered what that 1967

score as. Now I know. It was normal. Another insight for my own personal

CMT history and pieces of the puzzle falling into place.

That might be a good test question to ask a new doctor to see if he knows his

stuff.
