what a great year for treatment/research news

After I posted the abstract on the ascorbic acid treatment for CMT 1A

today I got to thinking...what a great year so far for actual CMT

treatment news...the NT-3 success last October and now this ascorbic

acid treatment news 6 months later! And the fact that the ascorbic

acid proved to stop CMT 1A from occuring. I am in awe of this and

can't wait to hear more.

For someone like me who has had CMT their whole life and has waited

and waited and lived and lived, it makes me to happy that treatment

other than surgery or rehab is around the corner. Even if I don't get

to partake of any of it, there are so many younger people who will.

Talk about HOPE!
