I wanted to be sure all read it, incase others on the LL egroup aren't on the moreoxygen. Anyway, I hope it reaches everyone and helps. Karma asked to post " What Works for You " and I was doing the happy dance having something to share saying, " Funny you should ask " as I have had quick results in a day! Read on... Hi! Its interesting you should ask what's working when I wanted so very much to post my discovery. I hope it helps others. First of all, I have to THANK " BJ " very much for the " two cents " worth of good information the other day. It helped me immensely. This has to do with those of us having the " belly pooch " ...I think I discovered why! I was doing LifeLift faithfully and reducing. Then, all of a sudden, I began to have that " pooch " coming back. Freaked me out! NOT AGAIN! Thank God, I did not have to wait too long to get answered, having signed up for the " Moreoxygen " eGroups and reading some posts that helped me a lot! Thank you ALL! In the words of " MY FAIR LADY " ...I think she (finally) GOT IT! In the last 2 days, I have made a concentrated effort to be sure and breath out all the air on my exhale. Breathing in the air deeply, so I feel my stomach raising, not my lungs. BJ pointed out in the email the other day, " I've discovered that if I direct inhaled air along the top of my throat instead of straight up into the nostrils, my lower abs naturally expand without any concentration on my part. In other words, I'm breathing through my nose with mouth closed, but forget the nose and concentrate on sending the air along top of throat. " Breathing this way helped me immensely to " automatically " fill up my stomach. On expelling it, my abs and stomach pull back " in " for the Pahhhhhhh and I get a great work out. A light went on in my head and I once read in a book about breathing and I know this is redundant as I have mentioned it here before, " If you want to know how to breath correctly watch a baby. Their stomachs rise, not their lungs. " Well, I did LL yesterday making sure I breathed as BJ suggested and automatically the stomach raises on the inhale and pulls in on the Pahhhhhhhh. I also did another routine of LL that evening. This morning I felt lighter again, I measured myself since I had been staying steady (it didn't bother me, I knew I was eating a bit more sweets...expecting increase of inches with Birthdays and having my cake and eat it too basically). You understand. Well, to my happy dance this morning, I measured myself and to my SURPRISE my lower abs are reduced again (no pooch!) and guess what, I dropped an inch from my abs, hips and my legs! (all my problem areas!) Well, that proves it...the pooch must be acquired from " improper breathing " ...allowing our lungs to compensate and fill up, rather than our stomachs. Hope this helps everyone! I'm thrilled to get the results I have so fast! Have a great day! I surely am feeling " answered " about the belly bulge! Wishing all of you the very best in success! Keep up the good work and keep on breathing! Tij PS/I felt my " glow " (sweat)again since breathing like this...its great! I felt a rush! I must have started out right and got lazy, or something, maybe not concentrating on my breaths and then developed that pooch coming back. I think that's how it happened. Also, I must add, I got on the scale (not my favor thing to do) and to my amazement, dropped 3 lbs! :0 So, for my kindred spirits, A and and all the rest, give it a try and see what results happen for you.
