I to have hearing loss, vertigo, and voice change (Deep Voice, Sometimes even

squeaks.) I have facial tics.I'm from Arkansas too

Janet,

You are the first persom outside of my family

describing the voice " change " thing. I also have

twitches and a sensation similar to havivg walked

through a cobweb and having it stuck to my face. I

rarely have vertigo but my balance sucks.I(and others

in my family) have significant hearing loss.

Jim thank you so much for letting me know.I can't seem to get anybody to really

tell me anything.I was just recently dx but believe I've had it for a long

time.My hearing has deffintly been afected and the facial thing goes on from

time to time.But my balance is terrible.I'[m very clumsy.Thanks again for

I have hearing loss and my ears have been ringing since June 28, 2003,

nonstop. I have suffered from vertigo a couple of times with this and it is

horrible. Last time it lasted about six days. No voice change, tho. Here I

thought

I was the only one with hearing loss and vertigo. (I almost hate to hear

they are symptoms of CMT..............I liked it better when I considered it old

age). :-))

Hello Jim,

Are the vertigo/hearing loss/voice change a part of the CMT and

did your docter accorded it?

To answer your question,yes those all are related to

CMT.I have hearing problems, also my ears even go numb

when I have the phone pressed to my ear. Also I have

more of a raspy voice in the last 2-3 years.I hope
