Okay everyone,

I am back on track after falling off BIG TIME! I got really discouraged after falling off the challenge twice. I didn't want to start for a third time. Today, I am back on track though. Got some house cleaning done, (that always makes me feel better) I have been reading lots of books on alkalinity, omega 3 fats, high fat diets vs low fat diets. The fake fat of olestra and the Mediterranean diet. Lots of reading going on, which is pretty much why I have been quiet on the list for a while.

I am back and ready to go on the challenge again. My birthday is coming up and I want to be the best I can be by then because I will be 40! Yikes! I know that doesn't sound like much to some of you, but to me, it does!

I have weighed and measured myself this morning. Started back on my high alkaline food program (mostly fresh juice, sprouts, veggies, and fruit) Trying to stay away from processed foods for a week so I can stabilize my way of eating and let myself be in control instead of the food controlling me. I had slacked off big time and didn't realize how lazy I had gotten until yesterday. I tried on some clothes that should have fit just fine and they were really snug! Boy was I in a foul mood the rest of the day. I really HATE feeling frumpy! I kind of scolded my husband and asked him why he didn't tell me I had gained weight. He told me I looked good to him, so why complain! :-) Sweet isn't he. :-) But, the fact remains that I had gained weight and now my clothes don't fit right. I hadn't noticed because I was running around in sweat pants that expanded with me for the most part. Yesterday was the first day I had tried to put on a fitted outfit for church.

Okay, enough of my confessions, now back to work. I'm getting in my workout today and only juices and water and my herbs are going in my mouth!

Wish me luck!
