Hi, I am 31 years old and mother of one and a special education teacher. I

wear AFOs and like others have said, they are wonderful. I think I am nearing

that point of needing a chair and not sure how to tell my family, especially

my mother. My husband sees how much pain I am in from all my foot surgeries,

but my mother thinks if I use a chair that I am giving up. I just want my

life to be easier. I have no intention of using it all the time, just after

working all day on my feet and maybe if I have to go out. If anyone has any

advice as to how to tell my mom and how to get a wheelchair, please let me know.

Do I need a prescription for one?

Jen
