Guest guest
Hi and welcome back to . I understand your fear about having your younger daughter tested, but remember, knowledge is power and knowledge will help you dispel fear and uncertainty. As for swimming, speaking from experience, my original diagnosing doctor said for me to swim as much as possible - that was in 1962 or around there - and I am still swimming; plus doing other acquatic workouts. I found Zoomer's fins a few years ago which really help my kick and work my leg muscles better. I swim with a current on, somewhere around 5 mph, since swimming without the current is much to easy and will not give me the same results. It is great all over conditioning, great on my arms too. So is the rest of my aquatic work. Take a look at this http://www.cmtworld.org/epublisher/publish/article_100.php ~ Gretchen
