Guest guest
Charlie, Welcome to this group. I was diagnosed at 18 and I am 32 now. I believe I can do anything anyone else can do and it is important for all people with CMT to feel the same. Yes, I had to try harder then most people and I had to learn my limitations, but I never let someone tell me that I couldn't do something. I had many jobs that I never told about my CMT because I never let it hinder me from doing the job. So, as the other person said, I do not feel it is important to tell employers of it until after you are hired and even then it is not necessary. I am very grateful fot this group. Thank you Gretchen for starting it. I read your article in Quest and I have had a similar background as well. in IL
