, I also wear AFOs, but there's no way I even attempt to maneuver

crowds without a cane. It has kept me from falling many times. Even if

you don't need a cane for walking, it's great for maintaining balance in

certain situations. I also think people are more sensitive to giving

you your space if they see you use a cane for assistance.

It's not just you , Our movie theater has those dumb carpet lights.

Something about them changes the perception of where the step actually is.

I

don’t deal with crowds well anymore either. It was worse on

tx. But now I’m back to my pre-tx level of crowd dislike.

Doctor appointment

They

know about it already but I will remind them, often. All I have to do is tell

them when the Gastro sets up the appointments & they'll take it from

there.

I

find that I don't like crowds anymore. I don't know how I'll react to T O

but I will adapt.

I'm usually OK with crowds. I'm pretty big and can look pretty weird sometimes so they generally move out of my way LOL. I'm so big now I'm just about a crowd by myself. Of course, growing up in the Big Apple it's a normal kinda thang y'all.
