Its areas of focus include HIV/AIDS, Reproductive and Child Health, adolescent health and health systems. Responsibilities of the Documentation Officer will include: 1. Publishing a quarterly newsletter 2. Content generation and management of websites 3. Update and upkeep of the library 4. Developing innovative resources for information dissemination such as information packs 5. Preparing manuals and modules for publication 6. Writing case studies, best practice documentation 7. Documenting projects/training programmes 8. Editing reports 9. Contributing to other documentation efforts at Swasti. Qualification: 1. Graduate in English, journalism or hold a Diploma in Communication, Advertisement or management from a reputed institution. 2. 4-5 years experience in documentation and/or communication activities in the development sector/news/advertisement agency. 3. Proficient in English and have a flair for creative writing. 4. Good communication and analytical skills 5. Proficient in word processing and web browsing software. 6. Proficiency in Kannada - spoken and written - is desirable. 7. Knowledge of DTP, web publishing and graphic software is preferred, as is experience in HIV or other health related domains.
