Guest guest
Hi Rita, Fizzing bath salts don't require cure time. They can be used immediately. I recommend using the following proportions: 1 part citric acid 2 parts baking soda I skip the corn starch that I add in the molded bath bombs, as the corn starch serves as a void filler in thart formula. With a loose mix, you don't have to worry about voidfs. You may want to add a touch of corn starch to keep your mix from congealing under very humid conditions, though. You can add a little bath salt mix to this formula, if you wish, also. Cheers, Trina Wallace -- Snowdrift Farm Natural Products, Inc. Quality Doesn't Have to Cost a Fortune! Guest guest
Hi , My recipe for the fizzing bath salts are 2 parts Sea Salt to 1 Part Citric Acid and 1 Part Baking Soda Add your essential Oils or Fragrance oils and/or color to the salt first, THEN add your citric acid and baking soda. Just not sure why they hardened up..... Hope this helps, Suzy > Mind if I ask what your recipe is?
