Guest guest
My sister had her ankles fused when she was 17 on one foot and 18 yrs of age on the other foot. Today she is headed for 56 yrs of age. And now because of the fusion her hip sockets are not working right, the joints are slipping and sliding around. Now I do admit that was some time ago and if she hadn't had it done back then, she would have been in a wheel chair within a couple of years according to the doctors. So in this day and age, I suggest that you ask your doctors about what about the long term well be in 40 years. Elaine....Michigan
