Guest guest
Its hard to explain but I have in my kids IEP that they can take short cuts to save writing energy. An example of a short cut would be an english assignment where they would have to copy several sentences just to write a puncuation mark at the end. My kids just put the . ? ! at the end and without writing out the sentences. In math I can write out the problems for them and they do the work. If they have a lot of math problems they can do all ODDS or all EVENS. Saxon Math has a work book that has all the problems already written in it. Adam used that all last year. It is under special needs on the saxon website. It is the text book in work book form. ( not just a work book). I do other short cuts for them in spelling. Most kids have to write the spelling words 10 times each. My kids write each word 1/2 of what the other kids do then practice the rest out loud. I have a grace period before they can be counted as late. That gives them time to sit in the warm car to warm up their hands in the cold morning air. I have tried to cover all bases with the Other Health Impared IEP.
