Guest guest
Dirk, I feel my hardest decade with CMT was from age 10 to 20. That's when I was especially conscious of my peroneal muscles. I suppose maybe all my activity slowed further atrophy down, since after that decade, things seems to stabilize. I'm 51 and still show about a four inch size of atrophy where the peroneal muscle is, but that has always been there. Not a big deal. I have worked to build up surrounding leg and foot muscles and still do this. Other muscles have compensated and nerves have reinnervated. Most people, when seeing my legs, think they are good looking...~ Gretchen
