Guest guest
Warren, On this special weekend, my hat is off to you for 2 tours of Nam. (Also to other military personnel here) I am a bit younger than you (52) but my draft # was 3 so I tried to enlist in the Navy. Instead, CMT got me classified 4F; I suppose because I had already been diagnosed. My education was vital as well and like you, without it, I'd be nowhere today. And like I have heard GG say, education really begins once we graduate! I'm an architect and have my own firm, plus a few other " side " ventures. As " Mister Mom " to my two young daughters who I swear were born feminists, life has been very rich. And yes, we all have CMT X - still the twins remain asymptomatic even in their 20's. Education is vital and for those of us with CMT, perhaps even more so. Learning to expand my brain and continuing to use that muscle has been a real gift. So, Reema, keep going with your art, and also learn to create new endeavors for yourself that are CMT friendly.
