Guest guest
Okay. You all have me confused. I think Linen as linen............. LOL. what is this linen spray and what exactly does it do. I seen stuff now that sounded more like a oil type spray with the linen name and now this one.......?? sorry, don't mean to sound dumb...... *covering blonde hair** and I have seen this denatrued stuff alot........... In different forms. Can someone please explain all of this to me. I would appreciate it. I am eager to learn............ Just seeing different meanings for the same name of stuff now... *confusing me even more* Thanks so much De Re: Linen Spray I make a spray by combining: 4 oz. grain or 39C denatured alcohol 4 oz. distilled water 1 to 2 tsp. fragrance oil Dissolve the oil completely in the alcohol, then very slowly add the water to this. I also use this same recipe to make a body spray/splash, but I add 1 tsp. glycerine to this to help the scent last longer on the skin by reducing the evaporation rate of the alcohol. You would not want this in your linen/room spray, since evaporation is crucial if you want to avoid wet sheets and furniture! You can also make a spray by using polysorbate 20 or 80 to emulsify the oils with the water, but I don't have experience using this, and from what I have read, results in a cloudy mixture (this can be counteracted by packaging in an opaque bottle). Hope this helps! Cat >^-.-^< > I am looking for a GOOD recipe for linen spray. I just love The Good > Home Company Spray........especially Dandelion. Guest guest
Hi Well the linen spray I do is for putting in your Iron to make your clothes smell nice or for spraying on your clothes while you are ironing. You can also use it as room freshen or even to freshen up you curtains. And the lavender one is good to spray on your bedding to help get a good night sleep. Or even to spay on the bedding to freshen up a guest room. Guest guest
Thanks Tricia... That makes more sense now I seen another one that had oil mentioned in it....... Couldn't figure that one out. It has to be something different.
