Guest guest
Welcome Dale. No one can predict an individual's CMT for the future. CMT has so many types, substypes and mutations; it is very idiosyncratic and appears unique to each of us, due to our own genetic coding. I was diagnosed when I was 10, but symptoms started showing about age 7. I am 52 now, very active, firmly believe in my aquatics circuit program, nutrition, maintaining a positive mind, Vitamin E and Iron (as prescribed) also quality sleep. CMT is primarily in my feet. Even with that, I continue to strengthen foot muscles with a rocker board and walks in sand. I wear in-shoe orthotics (custom made, as each foot is different). Great for balance and stability.
