Thank You Gretchen for the info. I do know where the MDA clinic is

at close to my home and I have been there twice in my lifetime. The

last time I went was to get a proper diagnosis for Disability Social

Security. The Doctor told me then back in 1991 I have Hereditary

Sensory Motor Nueropathy. Since then my syptoms have been fairly

mild and progressive. Now let's see, 3 years ago Is when I started

going down hill fast. In one years time I was walking on my own with

no aids of any kind, cane walker and I quit wearing my AFO's because

I suddenly started twisting my ankles inside the brace. After that

year was over,2002, I am in a motorized wheelchair and you know the

rest.

Boy I carry on so some times. Any ways I have had all kinds of tests

done on me. Elimanated everything else, I have rhematoid arthritis

or that kind where your bones break easily, I have sleep apnea which

is fairly common in even healthy people also, I have fractured my

hip and I don't know how many times I have fractured my ankles and

tore all the legaments. But nobody around here seems to know what

type of CMT I have.

I read about all the types on every site I can get. But call me dum

cause I just don't get it. And maybe it just does'nt matter. I know

whats wrong with my body, I know how bad I hurt and I know what I

can and canot do. So I'll just smile and go on. But Thank You for

the advice, and as far as I'm concerned your a better Doctor than

most Doctors I have seen. I know your not a Doctor though.

With Love,

Rita
