I take 80 mg LA Innopran (Propranalol & Inderal are the same drug) once

a day every morning. It works well for me. I highly recommend the long

acting (LA) over the kind that you take every 3 - 4 hours. My internist

and neurologist both agree that beta-blockers such as these should be

taken in the long-acting variety, not the kind you take every 3-4 hours.

Beta blockers affect your heart beat/blood pressure, so even,

time-released dosages are best for consistency. With these drugs, you

will notice that it's hard to hit you " target " heart rate when

exercising because the drug will naturally keep you heart rate slow.

I've been taking tremor medicine for 8 years.

At my worst, I had jerky motions in arms and legs, dropped an

important job , something I never did before. One year later I am fine

I have a tic type thing like tourettes syndrome but not bad like you

see some kids on tv. I saw a show about tourettes syndrome about a

week ago. I take ativan and clonidine and it keeps the tics under

control. When I talked to the neurologist about mold she didn't think

that was the cause. That was a few years ago. They are mainly in my

head or neck. Mostly this is a child illness but I didn't have this as

a child.

Katrina,

Any of the molds that affect the Central Nervous System (whole body) can cause

tremors. Alpha Lipoic Acid helps this. Also helps clear memory problems.

I'm 4 years out and I still have them periodically, but much better :-).
