getting diagnosed/vitamin C

Hi June:

My gosh, your description is soooo close to my own. Went to orthopaedic

physicians, spent 5 days in hospital only to find our what I didn't have.

$12,000 later I was of the opinion that my whole body was going to melt away

with my head being the only thing left. My GP sent me to a buddy...a

podiatrist who took one look and diagnosed this as CMT due to arthritus. I

have lost some of the bone in foot and leg and managed to fuse together.

Luckily I am not in pain and hope this continues. I am in a wheel chair and

in una boots in the hope that this will abate its spreading. Prognosis...it

s anyones guess. I get to see the doctor in 8 weeks to see what the next

step is. But I note that the vitamin C is helping me with more energy

(being less sleepy). Will continue this regime. I am a great believer in

vitamins.

Thank you all for being here. You are helping me to feel that this is not

the end of the road.
