As for the nerve biopsy, I had one - in two sections of my left leg.

Nothing to worry about. I didn't know this at the time (I was 14) but

that a nerve biopsy is often used as a diagnostic tool to rule out other

disorders. DNA testing obviously is less invasive, and not available for

all types of CMT yet.
