Guest guest
Hi Guys, All these years with my feet drove me nuts. When I filled out the pain report every month at my regular dr's, I thought it must have seemed stange to him to write my feet were numb, but they also hurt..I couldn't imagine what he thought especially precribing me Oxycontin..he wasn't up on cmt, but the weird thing is, he might have it himself, and was very interested in what I ad found out by talking to you guys. I always print out what I find now and give it to him. My precriptions cost $475.00 this month I'm almost 2 months behind on rent, what can I do?? I also owed 640.00 to my regular dr., because my insurance was taken up by the neurologist. Any suggestions please write me. Thanks.

Guest guest
a lot of drug companies now have free or low cost meds for patients who can't afford them. the yearly income can range any where from 12,000 to 35,000 a year. you can go on line to free medicine.com and get a list of companies. If you are on Neurontin email me and I will give you the information on getting them free I do. As for the doctors the states laws are different but if you pay each month and never miss they are not suppose tio call you or threaten you. I am paying out over 10,000 in medical bills right now and only one doctor got mad and turned me over to a collection agency, now i actually pay him less each month than before. Don't let rent go buy ot the rest of the neccessaties of life. Doctors can be understandin if you dsodn't have insurance. I try and try to get medicaid and with ut seeing me there doctors say i should " go to work " . I don't think they have ever heard CMT and they sure wouldn't say go get a job if they saw me. So keep you chin up and if you need any help finding which compaies help people like us get our meds let me know.
