If anyone in central PA has some grains that they would like to sell, please let me know. Thanks, Janelle

Guest guest
OK, . I just wondered as I thought I had put two things together and come up with you as someone I met by phone who lives where I used to live and she is into farm life and ferments and I thot her name is . Come to think now, I think I met her because I had put up a freecycle ad for my Dad in that area and she called me. I thot I'd get grains from her when I go home to see my Dad soon. But since you are not her, I can't do that. Anyway, I would like some grains quicker from you now - but only if they are biggies that you can let big. I am having so much trouble in the last year with my grains. They won't grow and they only have only given me two really healthy ferments. The rest of the time I had only thickened milk. Two times the grains fermented the milk into curds and whey. I had really quit about 3 months ago, but I am really itching to get started again. For myself and now for another reason. For a friend who I have found is now on his own health journey. I just got him started with kombucha today and gave him a bottle that will take him thru until his first ferment is done. He is excited about what I have told him so far. So if I can get big healthy grains somewhere, I want very much to get back into making kefir and hopefully, HOPEFULLY, big healthy grains will take off and give me full ferments and will grow so I can share grains with him in a few weeks or so. Let me know what your grains are like and anything else you might do special to them to keep them healthy. I need any and all input I can get so that I can have the best opportunity to make this work this time.
