Welcome. What a wonderful country you live in. I spent summer of '95

visiting friends there who were such gracious hosts. We have a few

other members at from New Zealand as well.

As for balance, 1) I wear custom orthotics in the bottom of my shoes

to stabilize my walking and 2) In aquatics we do some exercises to

improve balance - also hand/eye coordination 3) Pilates seemed to

give me a greater sense of where my body is in time and place with

their body scan technique. When I was younger I had alot of physical

therapy to help with balance and learning how to fall - in case.

As for crowds, I shop at off times, or shop on the Net. If I go to a

sporting event or concert, I arrive early and take my time. Upon

leaving, I take my time as well.
