I have been using Marilyn's milk grains to ferment coconut milk.

I found coconut milk takes 2 days to get to a nice kefir. I use canned coconut

milk (Thai Kitchen) and the kefir is fantastic.

I noticed the fermentation slowing down after a few batches.

So I rotate the grains back for raw milk. Even then the milk fermentation is

slowed down for a few batches.

Today I listened to Marilyn's podcast on Timpone. She mentions using water

grains for Coconut Milk Kefir and rotating them with sugar water.

Should I be using water grains for Coconut based kefir?
