Two people who use metal strainers. Hmmmm. I thot we weren't supposed to touch

cultures with metal. :o/ Is that caution maybe overdone?

My plastic strainers with bigger holes do work fine. I don't need to strain the

baby grains out because my grains are growing just fine. I do want to get back

to using the bag method of transferring grains from jar to jar, tho. I just have

to make a bag so I need to decide how big the bags should be that I make because

I only have one bag now and it hold a Tbs. The bag method is the simplest and

quickest one. It also keeps the amount of grains the same from jar to jar: I

suppose I would just scoop some out when the bag bulges. I didn't start these

grains in a bag because the amount she gave me would not fit the little bag and

I wanted to put them all into a quart jar of milk.

I eat my kefir with a silver spoon but I hope that does not hurt it.
