Guest guest
Tom, I will forward this email to my mother and I will post her reply to you. She is currently " close to your age " . . . hey, she's a woman, I'm not telling her age without her knowing! Hee hee She had the ankles fused a few years ago. She's not part of merely because she was waiting until she got out here with me to sign up so I can do it for her. I'll get back to you as soon as she responds to your email. : ) Good Luck and rest those legs!
Guest guest
, I read your email and am very interested in how your mother fairs with fused ankles. I am 57 years old and am considering that procedure. How old is she? What was her age when she had the surgeries? Can she drive? Did her fusion eliminate pain? What are the benefits for her? The drawbacks? I apologize for asking such personal questions, but I have had no success in finding people who have had this procedure--especially folks close to my age. Wearing my braces, I worked in the yard this morning for about 3 hours, trimming bushes, raking and hauling trash barrels around the yard. I know I will pay for it the rest of the day with pain, but it beats sitting around. Can your mom do such work? I will greatly appreciate any information you can give me. Sincerely, Tom Bates
