Guest guest
Since mine aren't growing, but producing a nice product, I only wish it was a bit " fizzier " , I wonder if I should get some newer grains. Would that maybe " inspire " my grains to actually grow? BTW, the taste of my kefir, after 30+hours is very mild, slightly curdy especially if I leave cream in the milk, thickish but not buttermilk thick, slightly yeasty, everything that the websites say it should be. One last observation. When I began drinking it about 3ish weeks ago, I had the intestinal distress with the very dark bowels, that has since gone away unless I drink " young " culture. But what is very COOL, is I have had a rough patch of skin on my chin since I was in my 20s. I am certain it was mild excema. It's almost gone! And the texture of my skin is smoother, softer. I even think my hair is getting darker. Maybe that's a bit wishful, but still, something's happening. I've been noting all these changes because I also have an autoimmune disease that I try to control without conventional meds. I have been having a bit of an issue for about a year and was considering going back on meds. Kefir seems to be working on a deeper level than I expected and buthad hoped for, so I'm going to wait a while to see if it helps with the Graves. All of your comments have been greatly appreciated.
