Hi ,

I'm just now following up on my original kefir question and saw your post. I

used to feed Bowser raw veggies, pulverized in the food processor with water so

it's basically liquid. I stopped when he had gas problems. We have been taking

Bowser to acupuncture and the vet told me that the veggies are still not

digestable. I don't know if she understood there's basically nothing left of

them.... She said to lightly steam veggies and that weakens the cellular walls

so the dog can get the nutritional benefit. First time I've heard that. Also,

too much cruciferous veggies (raw?) slows the thyroid.

bright pink and itched with every one I tried. I switched her off meat and onto

fish to keep both of us from going crazy. Before being treated for allergies,

she begged for carrots, blueberries, and basically any other raw veggie or

fruit. She is really very healthy. I tried her on organic chicken, turkey,

buffalo ostrich, and every other kind of unusual meat I could find after giving

up on beef, etc, all with the same horrifying results. It would definitely be

cheaper and easier to buy food, but for our sanity I make it instead.
