Guest guest
, I have learned that lots of patients don't like to do the detox.. I do a simple program of Betafood to get the liver and gallbladder working, Greens first a (a green veggie product)which has the equivalent of 19 serving of green veggies for the alkanity and a good probiotic. That give the majority lots of help and not a lot of stress to the body.. Maybe, it would be wise to consume less Kombucha for the moment and see whether it has any effect on this pain issue. If there is no change, it may be wise to have a check-up of your water works. BTW, I would not accuse Kombucha of causing problems. It may, however, highlight an area of weakness that has been there already, or been caused by e.g. a viral infection. Guest guest
I start my day with two big mugs (18 ounces) of hot water. I drink water all day. When I was in the hospital 2 months ago having a hip replacement I drank 2 gallons a day. Yes, 2 gallons - my sister brought me our well water in gallon jugs so I could measure. " BTW, I would not accuse Kombucha of causing problems. " I am not accusing kombucha of causing problems. I am wondering if detoxing (which is one function of kombucha) has caused anyone else this kind of symptom. Is it stronger smelling and very yellow? This could indicate you need to drink more water to flush out your kidneys and give them a break. Some web sites actually recommend 3 weeks on Kt and a week break. So if you have been guzzling it down to remove toxins or what have you ..REmember to drink the same amount in water at some other time in the day to help with the flushing process. I would definitely listen to your body and respond by drinking water. It does not mean you need to quit KT all together. Also, not to scare you but I also read it does have a dissolving affect on kidney stones. Perhaps this is what you are feeling. All in all if your urine is yellow cosistently it does not hurt to drink enough water so that one of your pee sessions it looks much clearer. That is what I would do for starters.

Guest guest
Hi Gayla, So it is not too little water then:-)) Since you are drinking so much water, maybe the issue is too much water for your kidneys to handle. How about cutting back on the Kombucha and water and see it it helps, then adding back first one and then the other....trial and error. Guest guest
Thanks Melody. I am drinking plenty of water and urine is normal light yellow color. No strong smell. No stones have passed that I am aware of. I drink at least 5 times as much water as kombucha. Gayla Always Enough Ranch Acampo, California http://bouncinghoofs.com/alwaysenough.html aeranch@... Guest guest
, I drink an average of 3 to 4 quarts of water a day in winter. I rarely drink tea; if I do it is one cup a day. No coffee, no soda. I am not substituting caffeine/sugar drinks and calling them " water " like so many do. When I say I drink water, it is straight out of the well with no additives. Guest guest
I have been drinking this much water for years. I doubt it is too much water. I just had my hip replaced and was drinking 2 gallons a day in there hospital. My sister brought me good well water in gallon jugs so it was easy to monitor. No problems with my back then. DH does not drink nearly enough water IMHO and he gets the same problem with his back. Gayla Always Enough Ranch Acampo, California http://bouncinghoofs.com/alwaysenough.html aeranch@... Guest guest
So can posture, as well as the way you lift, sit etc. I remember one summer i was doing karate, came home on thurs with a dull lower back ache, walked a few mile on fri to get to work and back, and from one step to another on teh way back it flared up and i physically could not move other than to hang on to the gate next to me. Spent the next week on meds and was so stoned at my graduation i dont' even remember it. Have you changed your work routine at all? or the way you sit?
