watery milk kefir

Laurie, I use milk from WalMart, usually 2%, which produces thickened liquid

kefir.  Using whole milk produces a smoother, slightly thicker product, but I

prefer lower fat content.  I use just about 1 teaspoon of grains in 3 cups of

milk.  I agree with Lyn; you likely need to divide your grains.  Also, if you

will stir your kefir & refrigerate it overnight, it will thicken up a bit.  Hope

this helps!
