Welcome! I started drinking kefir a little over a year ago, and I absolutely

love it. It has resolved a lot of digestive issues I have struggled with as well

as digestive issues one of my dogs suffered from! You get used to the taste

quickly. The first time I had real kefir, I was like, holy crap, how am I gonna

drink that stuff every day! I went to bed and the next morning, I was craving

it. It was very weird!

I gave some to my boyfriend the first time he had it and he spit it out and said

he didn't know how I could drink that stuff. A couple days later, he said, " You

know, that kefir stuff isn't so bad. " I've had a couple friends with the same

experience.

Anyway...if you are not used to fermented foods, it will taste very strange at

first. But, I think our bodies recognize that it is good for us and then, start

wanting more. At least, that's been my experience.

about it for about 3-4 weeks now and finally ordered me some kefir grains. This

is my 4th or 5th batch today. My grains are very tiny but someone is going to

give me some soon so I'll keep playing with these until then. :) They are at

least getting me the kefir to drink although I'm drinking just a little right

now trying to get my stomach used to it.

Actually, lately, I've been wanting to drink it 3-4 times per day. I can't seem

to get enough of it and it's hard to have to eat something else.
