Guest guest
Reason I really want to know quantity is because if it will work with 1/4 cup, then I don't want to have to drink 12 oz. And if 1/4 cup works, and works well, would 12 oz. be way too much and produce a much stronger herxheimer reaction with major headaches. We are trying to detox mercury from vaccines and mercury fillings. Guest guest
Is there a lower threshold that the whey will not work? If I understand (which I usually don't), you don't want too much mercury released at once. Do you know what the amount/type of protein is needed? And at what point the Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction gets triggered? Also, if you'd be so kind, I would be very interested in mercury detox info that you could direct me to. Guest guest
Oh, the only data I've been able to find on liquid whey are these, and the type of protein is not specified: Whey, sweet, fluid: 2.09 g protein/cup whey Whey, acid, fluid: 1.87 g protein/cup whey http://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods/show/102 http://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods/show/100 I have no clue how they define sweet vs acid whey. And no milk type specified. Hope that's at least a little help. Guest guest
I don't know what the lower threshold is...would like to know that also. Yes, I don't want a bad herxheimer...a mild one will show me that I'm detoxing. I also need to go slow so as to not burden my organs of elimination. I do have a Relax Far Infrared Sauna so that will help to detoxify and get some of the mercury out that is pulled out of my cells from the whey nutrition. " Non-denatured whey protein from grass-fed cows is also very good for rebuilding the gut. Whey is loaded with L-glutamine and enhances cellular glutathione stores which are both needed to repair the intestinal wall and de-inflame the body. Powerful herbs such as turmeric, g garlic, onion, rosemary, & oregano among others should be used as much as possible to improve immune coordination. " http://www.naturalnews.com/036351_digestion_remedies_solutions.htm\ l I received an email a few weeks back specifically about why protein and detoxing mercury. I will have to look for it but I've been so busy lately and it's almost 2, so I'm exhaused. Maybe I can find it on Monday and I'll email it to you. Guest guest
Leo, Thanks for the links. I'll have to look into them. I found a link explaining the difference between sweet and acid whey. Sweet whey comes from cottage cheese production and acid whey comes from (rennet) hard cheese production. http://www.bythewhey.com/acid_sweet_nutrition.html So, what kind of whey is from kefir production? Does it start out being sweet whey right after straining? Does it turn to acid whey when you second ferment?...hmmm There is a little bit more protein in sweet whey than acid whey. I wonder if there is a pH difference, not fut the name of sweet or acid. I have pH paper, I can try to test it to see what the pH is. Guest guest
I've read that one of the best ways to detox mercury from you system is with cilantro, the leaves and stems, not to seed. They discovered this, whoever 'they' are, by testing Vietnamese dental patients after having mercury fillings removed, then again after they had a traditional Vietnamese meal with lots of cilantro. I can't remember how many years ago I read this, but I'd guess it was over 5 because that's when I started going very heavy on the cilantro and eating only veggies. I don't do that any more, but liked the results while I stuck with it. A good thing. too, since I react adversely to whey and whey protein. I prefer my kefir with most of the whey strained out of it. in Oregon ________________________________ From: " ouched63188@... Guest guest
Yes, cilantro can detox mercury, but not even close to the efficacy of glutathione. Glutathione is the MASTER DETOXIFIER. You do not take glutathione, you consume the precursors...forgot the word there...and your body creates the glutathione. There is also a component of the whey that causes the body to take the used up glutathione and recycle it again so it's used again...don't remember what this is called either. I have a video in my email somewhere, have to look for it, that goes into all the different things to detoxify heavy metals, some effective and some not effective. Heuer was poisoned by mercury and apprently almost died and this was his struggle to detoxify and the many, many different things he used to detoxify and what his results were for each of them.
