Guest guest
Hi Kim, Do you use refined table salt? Do you eat canned or processed foods that have refined table salt in them? Himalayan salt is excellent to use instead. It has 84 minerals and trace minerals that our bodies need, but that has been stripped out of white refined table salt. It tastes wonderful. Of course I recognize that there are lots and lots of different reasons for water retention, hypothyroidism, toxicity, etc. You may want to go to naturalnews.com and put in the search field water retention and read the articles that come up to see what applies to you. There are soooo many articles about it on there. Al Water absorption hi, everyone: I tend to swell if I just sip at my water; I have compromised curculaion in my legs; I was swelling very badly, but I knew I needed to keep my water consumption up. I was attending a weight loss group at the time, (over 10 year ago) and there was another lady who was older than I was, and she was having the same issue, but her circulation in her legs was not compromised as mine is. SHe talked to her dr, and he told her that when she drank her water, to drink it all at one go...not to sip iut, but to drink a cup of warter without pause. Then, in about an hour, do the same thing again. HE wanted her to work up to wher eshe was drinking 2 cups at a time like that, and do it a few thimes a day, and to drink more than the recommended 8 8-ounce glasses of water a day, because she was losing weight and she needed to help her body flush out those waste products; she staredt dloing that the day after a meeting, an when we met the next week, she reported she was not swelling anymore. I started doing the same thing, and I still do it; I drink 2 to 3 cups of water at one time and do it again a few hours later...it works for me, so it might be something to consider... -- Kim in Texas
