Guest guest
Okay, just an opinion, but WHY? If she is breast feeding, the baby is getting what nature intended it to get. Esp if the mother is eating correctly. Why alter " nature's perfect food " ?? After the little one STOPs breast feeding would be the time to look into kefir. Guest guest
Marie, I didn't catch this the first time I read it but are you saying make kefir with her breast milk? I would think that would be better for the baby then even raw organic goat or cow's milk. Probiotic are great for baby...just make sure its not a probiitic that is from a pasturized milk source. Let me ask you a question about the baby...Has he/she been vaccinated? As someone who has had my gut health and my overall health destroyed by the military by vaccines, and as a parent of an ADHD (which is in the autism spectrum) child whose health and gut health also destroyed by vaccines. All vaccines violate the laws of biology and destroy the immune system. Unvaccinated children get sick much less than kids that did and unvaccinated children gave much stronger immune systems. I wished I knew all of this prior to vaccinating my child, but its too late for him and me (but I'm working on healing my body naturally), but its not too late for this child. And don't let daycares, schools, etc. scare you into vaccinating either and you can get an exemption in any state. The MMR causes measles in the intestines. This is admitted from the Institute of Medicine http://www.naturalnews.com/033447_Institute_of_Medicine_vaccines.html Look at the ingredients in vaccines, there are some really dangerous chemicals in them. You can get all of the info from lots of places...Dr. Tenpenny, Dr. Wakefield, Dr. Rashid Buttar, Bell (homeopath), NaturalNews. The best overall article on naturalnews (there are hundreds of good articles on there though) can be found by putting " Vaccine Cluster Bombs " in their search bar. Here are some links... www.naturalnews.com (you can find any health condition on here to treat naturally) http://vactruth.com/ http://drtenpenny.com/default.aspx If you have any other questions, you can send me a private email. Guest guest
Marie, I would recommend that your friend ask her pediatrician, rather than an online forum, for medical advice about what to feed and how to care for her child. That goes for both kefir and vaccines. ~ > > Marie, > > I didn't catch this the first time I read it but are you saying make kefir with her breast milk? Guest guest
LoL! Just sayin', not sure most folks who use and drink Kefir are big on medical advice.. but, anyways.. my babe drank and used kefir as soon as he was interested in food, just like any other food (for him, this was about 4 months old). Kefir was perfect because it was made with raw milk, broken down by the kefir grains to be easily digested, and full of nutrients and probiotics for a healthy gut and, thus a powerful immune system (rather then an immune system torn down by vaccines). I agree with another poster that breast milk is the perfect food, and she may want to wait for the babe to show interest in something else, before introducing anything new.. BUT the most important thing is probably to follow HER motherly instinct about raising HER child. Research, research, research.. a forum like this is a great place to start because of all the knowledgeable folks here, but her research shouldn't stop here. The medical industry in America is little more than a business, and she may want to be careful talking to them about 1. vaccines (a HUGE cash cow for them) and, 2. natural healing foods like kefir, kombucha, etc., as she more likely than not, will NOT get favorable advice. nichole gabriel Re: Kefir for babies Marie, I would recommend that your friend ask her pediatrician, rather than an online forum, for medical advice about what to feed and how to care for her child. Guest guest
Agreed! People used to use old remedies from our grandparents and not run to the doctor at every time someone got a fever or a cold and they were much healthier for it too. There were no doctors or " DRUG " stores at every corner just waiting to give you DRUGS that will suppress everything and go against nature. Work WITH nature and you will be better and healthier for it. I recently heard this analogy and I love it...If people called a plumber every time they went to the doctor, they would be calling the plumber every time they flushed the toilet.
