We use EOs almost exclusively for our first aid, healthcare, and general

health needs. One rule of thumb - if on the bottle you read " do not

take internally " or something like that, DON'T. It means that the maker of

that oil uses things in the oil that are unsafe. It is not pure at that

point and I wouldn't expect it to produce the amazing results that a pure

(therapeutic grade) oil will.

That said, we use Young Living oils. In order to purchase from them, you

have to sign up as a customer, so it's not like going to Amazon.com and

ordering essential oils. If you or your cousin's friend don't have a

distributor to sign up under (it's a free sign-up), please feel free to use

There will be a box that you need to put the number in - don't worry, it's

easy to find and use. Of course, there are other options as well -

becoming a distributor yourself in order to buy the oils at a discount. If

not the purpose of Marilyn's kefir list.

I use Young Living essential oils exclusively because they are " therapeutic "

grade, meaning they will truly give you results. Some people use essential oils

only for their aroma. My teenage daughter uses one of their blends for

menstrual cramps; we all use the oils for almost any ailment we have. I have a

Desk Reference Book that tells you what oil to use for specific purposes. I

also use the oils for household cleaning and disenfecting (I do not buy anything

from the grocery store any more).

You have two choices on how to order:

1) You can sign up as a Distributor which gives you wholesale prices on oils you

order for yourself.

2) You can sign up as a Preferred Customer which give you lower than retail, but

a little higher than wholesale prices.

Choose either " Distributor " or " Customer "

Insert my Distributor number (952941) in the " Enroller " and " Sponsor " blocks for

Distributor, or in the " Sponsor " block for just a Preferred Customer.

Of course, if you want to enroll under a different distributor that you may

already know, you can do that as well. If you don't use a distributor number,

the company will randomly assign you one.

I love their oils. They are 100% therapeutic grade oils. They have webinars you

can take online to learn about the oils and how to use them which also comes

with a book all about essential oils.

Essential oils are amazing! They can clear up congestion and stop a cough much

quicker and more effective than any cold medicines. They have a blend for

everything. I have used them for cold/flu, nausea, constipation, diarrhea,

stomach aches, pulled ligaments and muscles, pain, pms. And many more things I

can't think of right now.

I don't know about a forum. I have purchased organic herbs from

www.mountainroseherbs.com and they have excellent products and their prices seem

to be reasonable and they have a huge selection that I don't see in health food

stores.

I get most of mine from Mt. Rose Herbs. They carry a wonderful variety of herbs

and oils; many are organic too.
