I got the results of my CT scan yesterday and EVERYTHING is normal. pancreas,

gallbladder, bile ducts and liver. I have no idea what caused my lipase to soar

unless it is my body's way of adapting to the milk kefir that I am drinking, or

the pancreas trying to adapt to the no fat, low fat thing they put me on. I

actually think my problem started with a bug of some kind that I picked up that

caused the severe diarrhea and dehydration. I improved greatly after I got the

2 liters of fluids in the ER and the diarrhea stopped. I never had the pain

that is associated with pancreatic, gall bladder or bile duct problems, just

high lipase reading in my lab work.

I will check out the links and sites that you sent. I really appreciate you

sending them. The one thing I have already seen is that ALL my research and

what I was told at the dr.'s office was wrong. They all said low to no fat,

high carb diet. I am a low carber and I fully believe this is the best way to

eat. I lost from 183 pound no energy with high blood pressure down to 130lb

normal BP with lots of energy. Now at 120 since I got the diarrhea and started

drinking kefir. i just need to get the energy level back now.
